With extensive experience in youth work, early help support, fostering services, setting supported accommodation, Regulation 44 visiting, and care management as a CQC Registered Manager and Nominated Individual, Taps is well-versed in maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance. As an experienced Responsible Individual, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to support, supervise, and uphold Ofsted standards in children's services. The Responsible Individual provides oversight of the service and ensures that the home operates in accordance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and organisational values. The Responsible Individual works closely with the Registered Manager to monitor quality, promote continuous improvement and ensure positive outcomes for children.

Toni is a qualified senior social worker who has worked with children and young people for twenty-six years. Her experience has been within Norfolk County Council, beginning her social work journey as an education social worker within local schools. Toni has worked predominantly with adolescents and care leavers. She is passionate about providing the right support for children and young people to prepare them for their future. Toni is a very strong advocate for children and demands nothing less than the absolute best for the children in her care. Toni has worked within multi-agency teams and has a great deal of experience collaborating with partner agencies.

Toni has extensive experience working with young people who have suffered multiple traumas, preparing them for independence. Taking a trauma-informed approach and providing a consistent, dependable source of support resulted in positive outcomes for those in her care. Her knowledge and experience of the teenage brain and impact of adversity on development is embedded in her practice and is at the core of how her team work with children and young people.

Toni has previous experience in the role of Registered Manager in a Local Authority residential setting. Toni completed the Level 5 accreditation in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare and Supervision training. Toni's strengths in child-centred practice and overall protection of children were noted by Ofsted and reflected in their positive rating.

Toni leads by modelling what she expects from her staff team and all those involved in the lives of children. Her expectations are high and she adopts an open-door policy to the children placed in her care. Toni works with children and young people, encouraging co-production of plans and decision-making at every juncture.

The Registered Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the home and ensuring that children receive high-quality care which promotes their safety, wellbeing, and development. The Registered Manager leads the staff team, oversees safeguarding arrangements, and ensures that practice remains consistent with the ethos and values outlined within this Statement of Purpose.
